Because women are naturally open to the Onemind through her right brain, she will be the first to sense when that time is coming.

the connection to the OneMother also endows healthy, whole women with the ability to know when to have children, when to stop procreating, when to embrace a child and when it is needful to strangle it with its umbilical cord. all these things are exclusively the domain to the mother. (the men are too soft hearted for the pragmatism of motherhood and should stay out of this business.)

the myth of the soul mate comes from a human's ability to know exactly who is and who is not perfect for them. this, of course, requires that one kiss a lot of frogs before one finds the one true prince or princess. Women literally must smell and taste a man to decide if he is an appropriate candidate. this process has nothing to do with sexual pheromones, a simplistic scientific reduction of a complicated process, but more to do with the human brain being able to decipher genetic coding on a vast and subtle level.

men, like women, get all sorts of cues to genetic health when they look at women. after all, if one is to raise successful humans, one must teach them how to be successful humans. one must teach them that the sacred act of sex and the divine contract of marriage are one of the few things the gods pay attention to in the realm of human affairs. you get free reign to do just about everything else, but in this, the Divine Feminine forgives no transgressions. In this, the OneMother cannot be denied. She is that tick tock clock pressing against the inside of your mind, pushing you to do things that seem risky or deadly.
